Resumen

El registro deformable ha pasado a formar parte fundamental en la toma de decisiones en radioterapia gracias a la propagación de contornos, acumulación de dosis y radioterapia adaptativa. Sin embargo, las imágenes de diagnóstico actual suelen incluir ruido, y artefactos que comprometen la calidad. Los cambios anatómicos y de colocación del paciente también crean desalineaciones de las imágenes temporales, así como el gas abdominal, bolus, aplicadores, etc ausentes en la imagen a registrar; todo esto afecta a la calidad. El programa Velocity™ incorpora algoritmos de registro deformado, para llevar a cabo un registro deformable de imágenes de alta calidad.
