Abstract
The main aim of this paper is to present the conclusions of the I Workshop on Digital Mammography. The workshop is proposed as a more interactive alternative to the traditional continuous training courses. Its starting point is the previous experience gained by the students from the measurements of four quality control items included in the spanish protocol. Novelty issues in the field (Mammo Protocol of European Federation of Medical Physics, breast tomosynthesis) were also presented as well as a debate about the role of the different professionals in the breast screening programs.
