Radioterapia intraoperatoria en quirófano con haces de electrones: descripción técnica y dosimétrica del acelerador dedicado Sordina LIAC

Resumen
El LIAC (Acelerador Ligero) 12 MeV de Sordina es un acelerador de electrones móvil dedicado a la radioterapia intraoperatoria en quirófano que utiliza un sistema de aplicación de alineación rígida. Describimos el equipo, los métodos de medida y la dosimetría especifica. Mostramos los resultados de la puesta en marcha de un LIAC y discutimos su comportamiento dosimétrico. Lo comparamos con otros sistemas de aplicación e interpretamos las diferencias dosimétricas a partir del diseño del cabezal del LIAC, obteniendo mejores distribuciones de dosis y tiempos de tratamiento, aunque su estabilidad es más sensible a las condiciones ambientales y de refrigeración.
