Resumen
El propósito de este proyecto es familiarizar a los usuarios, ya sean pacientes o familiares de pacientes, con los efectos de las radiaciones ionizantes empleadas en el diagnóstico por imagen, tanto en Radiodiagnóstico como en Medicina Nuclear. Para ello se ha desarrollado una aplicación sencilla e intuitiva para dispositivos móviles que utilizan el sistema operativo Android en la que se muestra la información más relevante y actualizada sobre Protección Radiológica basada en los Reales Decretos destinados a tal propósito, los proyectos nacionales DOMNES y DOPOES y los documentos más recientes de la Comisión Internacional de Protección Radiológica (ICRP). Además, se incluye información útil para trabajadores expuestos, así como un mapa de la radiación natural mensual típica en España.
